Knowledge in Service of Society Initiative

Harnessing knowledge to empower people, solve real-world challenges, and create lasting social impact.

Our mission

The Knowledge in Service of Society Initiative was founded in 2014 by Prof. Hasan Aljabbouli with a simple belief: knowledge has its greatest value when it is shared, applied, and used to improve society.

Our mission is to make knowledge accessible, practical, and impactful by removing barriers such as cost, language, and limited access to quality educational resources. We believe that every individual should have the opportunity not only to learn but also to apply their knowledge to improve their lives, strengthen their communities, and contribute to solving local and global challenges.

What we do

Free, high-quality resources

Create free, high-quality educational resources that are openly accessible to everyone.

Knowledge into impact

Develop practical tools and learning experiences that help people transform knowledge into real-world impact.

Lifelong learning

Promote lifelong learning, innovation, and continuous personal and professional development.

Knowledge for community needs

Encourage the application of knowledge to address community needs and societal challenges.

Support the knowledge community

Support students, educators, researchers, and professionals in sharing knowledge for the benefit of others.

Collaboration for social change

Foster collaboration, volunteerism, and initiatives that use knowledge as a force for positive social change.

How Steady Path fits into this initiative

Steady Path is a free project built under the Knowledge in Service of Society Initiative. It brings the initiative's mission to families raising a child with developmental needs — the families who most often face cost, language, and access barriers to the support their child needs.

Understanding a child's development, getting ready for a school meeting, tracking progress, and reinforcing learning at home shouldn't require money, insider knowledge, or an expensive advocate. Steady Path puts those tools within reach of every family — free and private by design — so quality support follows the child, wherever they learn.
